It’s not often that you see a European aftermarket tuning company work their magic on American cars. Oftentimes, the big, muscular vehicles that we take for granted here in the United States aren’t always available or affordable across the pond. However, some Europeans enjoy a dose of good ol’ American muscle and thee team at O.CT Tuning is more than happy to inject some supercharged steroids into the SRT model range.
The Austrian and Swiss-based O.CT Tuning specialize in building supercharger systems for German and American sports cars. Their latest program is designed specifically for the 6.4-liter naturally-aspirated V-8s that power the SRT models in Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep.
The featured application of the new compressor system is with the Dodge Challenger SRT8. The 6.4-liter engine starts out with a mean 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft. of torque from the factory, but that quickly skyrockets with the new O.CT Tuning upgrades. A new supercharger, charge-air intercooler, and software optimization designed for each individual car is installed. That ups power to 564 horsepower and 542 lb-ft. of torque. While those aren’t Challenger SRT Hellcat numbers, they’re still impressive. Customers can also opt for 600+ horsepower tunes as well.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT was up next. Its 6.4-liter V-8 engine received the same supercharger treatment as the Challenger and output is also pegged at 564 horsepower and 542 lb-ft. of torque. In addition, customers can also opt for a stainless steel cat-back exhaust for the monstrous Jeep.
For customers that really need to pour on the power, O.CT Tuning has a special Dodge Challenger SRT8 “OCTSRT8-700” that includes a 7.0-liter displacement and supercharger with a 720 horsepower and 645 lb-ft. of torque output.
O.CT Tuning offers up supercharger programs for the Dodge Challenger, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Chrysler 300, and Dodge Charger models equipped with the SRT 6.4-liter V-8 engine. In addition, a Dodge Ram 5.7-liter HEMI supercharger upgrade package is also available.
