More pressure for the compressor.
German aftermarket tuning company, O.CT Tuning, has quite the repertoire of upgraded cars. The typical German automobiles from Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche are all there, but then there’s a few that stand out from the norm. O.CT Tuning also specializes in upgrade programs for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and even the Lancia variant of the Chrysler Town and Country.
Now they’ve shifted their focus onto the Chevrolet Camaro, specifically the Transformers Bumblebee Camaro that was modeled after the Autobot from the movie. Much of the exterior was kept stock as changing it would counteract the whole Transformers theme. The standard Rally Yellow Paint, Rally stripes, 21-inch black wheels, Autobots logos, and body kit already make it stand out from the Camaro range.
The real changes from O.CT Tuning come underneath the hood of the American muscle car. One of the company’s specialties is compressor tuning and they worked their magic with the blower sitting atop the 6.2-liter V-8 engine. After waving their wands and pulling a few rabbits out of hats, the Camaro’s output is raised to a whopping 630 horsepower and 538 lb-ft. of torque. In addition to the supercharger tune, O.CT Tuning can also install a new stainless steel exhaust system that is subdued at lower speeds then opens up with a viscous rumble as the revs build.
The O.CT Tuning upgrade for the Camaro is available in a number of different horsepower outputs and comes with a certificate of technical inspection and a DCT certificate.
