That won’t just buff right out…
It’s always sad to see a hypercar crash. All that technology, performance, and stunning design obliterated in an instant. This Porsche 918 Spyder crash that just happened in China is no less depressing to see. It isn’t the first Porsche 918 Spyder crash and it probably won’t be the last.
According to CarNewsChina, the car was being driven by the owner’s friend in the early hours of the day. The female driver mistook the throttle for the brake pedal and slammed into a tree on the empty street. Thankfully nobody was injured and there were no pedestrians on the sidewalk at the time of the crash.
Unfortunately, the Porsche 918 Spyder is going to be very expensive and difficult to fix, especially considering all of the advanced hybrid technology packed beneath the bodywork. Adding to the frustrating incident is the fact that there are no license plates on the supercar, which has attracted some attention from the police.
Be careful with your supercars, kids.
