The Jaguar F-Type has been capturing the hearts and minds of automotive enthusiasts with its styling, driving dynamics, and beautiful engine notes since it first hit the market. During that time, Piecha Design has been working on its own upgrade program that refines the exterior and optimizes aerodynamics. Finally, it’s here and ready to take to the streets.
The modern and classy design of the Jaguar F-Type Roadster forms the basis for the Piecha Design transformation. A new set of front cup wings are positioned on either side of the front bumper, integrating into the front spoiler. These two relatively simple upgrades help to reduce lift at the front axle.
The new Piecha Design front cup wings perfectly harmonize with the new side sills that have a thinner shape at the front axle and extend outwards into an air deflector at the rear axle.
The rear of the Piecha Design Jaguar F-Type Roadster is visually more athletic and dynamic than its stock counterparts. This is achieved through a new rear spoiler lip that seamlessly integrates into the factory retractable spoiler to appear stock.
Beneath the downforce-inducing Piecha Design lip sits a new diffuser setup. The new diffuser is 40 cm wider and sports two centrally-mounted fins to help calm airflow, and reduce lift and drag. Stainless steel grille inserts are mounted around the two sets of 90 mm dual exhaust outlets for a more defined and powerful look.
But Piecha Design didn’t stop there with the Jaguar F-Type Roadster. The German company added on a new set of Piecha MP1 monoblock alloy wheels measuring 9.5 x 20 up front and 11.0 x 20 at the rear. The wheels accommodate the factory tires but use different offsets to increase the track of the sports car. The stance is then finished off with a new set of 30 mm sport springs and provide a better center of gravity.
The final aspect of the Piecha Design Jaguar F-Type Roadster to be upgraded was the folding top operation system. Piecha developed a new Comfort-Varioroof-Module that offers a One Touch operation with automatic window closing on the key fob.
The new range of Piecha Design Jaguar F-Type accessories and upgrades are currently available for the 3.0-liter V-6, and 5.0-liter V-8 engines in the Roadster and Coupe variants.
