On this segment of FeaturedFitment we’d like to introduce you to Dynamic Performance Engineering (DPE); a company that may be new to MotoringExposure, but is definitely not new to the game.
The guys at DPE where given a 911 Carrera S to be used as a blank canvas and they took full advantage of the opportunity by giving the sports car a whole new aesthetic appeal with their SP-SC5 concave wheels. The center of the SP-SC5 starts deep and concaves out, seamlessly matching the lines of the car and giving this Carrera S a perfect balance of form and function. The overall stance was achieved with 20×8.5 fronts fitted with a pair of 235/30-20s and staggering 20×11 rears wrapped in 305/25-20 Perelli P-Zero Nero tires. The wheels where finished with hand-brushed faces and complimented with chrome outer lips.
To achieve the perfect ride height, the Carrera S was equipped with a set of JIC coil-overs that comfortably eliminate any wheel gap. The overall appearance was also complimented with a 997TT front bumper, custom side skirts, and rear spats.
Although the wheels steal the spotlight on the Carrera S, this 911 isn’t “all show and no go.” The 3.8 liter engine is force-fed by a new TPC CT-520 turbo kit that pushes power north of 500 ponies. The turbocharged engine also boasts a ferocious roar with new Fabspeed headers and mufflers along with AWE high-flow catalytic converters. For quicker and seamless shifts, a new Porsche short shifter has been installed.
The Porsche 911 Carrera S with DPE SP-SC5 concave wheels is a sleek and sexy sports car with the power to back it up. The SP-SC5 wheels offer a clean and muscular look that cannot be matched.
