The true successor to the E30 M3, or the most potent Cayman yet?
The Porsche Cayman R and the BMW 1 Series M Coupe are two cars that you might not think to compare against each other. Heck, they aren’t even in the same price bracket, and the engines are on opposite sides of the driver. But, if you take a look at the specifications of each, they start to appear quite similar. Both the Porsche Cayman R and the BMW 1 Series M Coupe produce around 330 horsepower from two different types of six-cylinder engines, both have sub-five second 0-60 mph acceleration times, and both are the ultimate driving variants of their model line.
