Custom OEM upgrades for the new Carrera S.
The new Porsche 991 911 Carrera S has been hitting the streets around the world as the most powerful model currently available in the current generation. Now, Porsche Exclusive is offering some OEM power and styling upgrades for the new model.
The new Porsche Exclusive 991 range features a new Power Kit for the 911 Carrera S that increases power by over seven percent without affecting the fuel economy and emissions. The Power Kit includes a retuned ECU, new cylinder heads and camshafts, a variable resonance intake system with six air flaps and a resonance flap, a new center radiator to keep the engine temperatures regulated, and a new sport exhaust system with lower backpressure and adjustable flaps. The Porsche Exclusive 991 Sport Kit increases the output for the Carrera S’s 4.0-liter flat-six by 30 horsepower up to a total of 430 horsepower. This helps the sports car accelerate to 62 mph in 4.0 seconds when equipped with PDK and the Sport Chrono Package, which comes standard along with dynamic engine mounts. Top speed gets pushed back to 191 mph (308 km/h) for the manual transmission and 190 mph (206 km/h) for PDK. The Power Kit can be identified by the carbon inlays and titanium-colored engine cover in the engine bay.
As part of the Porsche Exclusive 991 programs, customers can also opt to restyle the exterior with new Sport Design components. The basic upgrade that is available is a lower front apron with enlarged air intakes to suck in cool air at higher speeds, and a fixed rear “ducktail” spoiler at the rear. Customers can also upgrade to the Aerokit Cup package that includes a fixed rear wing that sits atop the rear spoiler and a new front spoiler lip that features two air intakes.
The Porsche Exclusive 991 program also offers customers the ability to option their 911 Carrera S with tinted front and rear windows, exterior components painted in body color, and interior packages with trims in carbon fiber, brushed aluminum, and more.
All of the Porsche Exclusive 991 OEM upgrades for the 911 Carrera S are currently available from Porsche dealerships around the world.
