Sometimes lavish body kits, aggressive spoilers, and gaudy vinyl wraps become just too much and take away from the actual vehicle that’s beneath all the glitz and glam. Afzal Kahn and the team at Project Kahn wanted to give the Land Rover Discovery that extra special touch without going overboard, so they designed a new upgrade program called the Ground Effect Edition.
While the new Project Kahn Land Rover Discovery Sport 2.2 SD4 Ground Effect Edition doesn’t actually wear the added body work that’s oftentimes referred to as ‘ground effects’, it still has a pretty dynamic effect on the ground that it conquers. Part of that is thanks to the new set of Kahn RS-XF wheels with a Silver Platinum finish on the Corris Grey Discovery. The 8.5 x 20 wheels all wear 275/40 R20 tires and hide a set of contrasting Liquid Red brake calipers. New Kahn hood, tailgate, and fender badging was also added for good measure.
Inside is where the real magic unfolds. The Project Kahn Land Rover Discovery Ground Effect Edition features a special Red Herringbone leather interior. The leather package includes all of the seats. Door card tops, dashboard, and center console for a comfortable and refined feel. Soft yet grippy alcantara adorns the centers of each door card along with the steering wheel center hub. To finish it all off machined aluminum door entry sills and vented foot pedals decorate beneath the beltline.
This new Project Kahn Land Rover Discovery Sport 2.2 SD4 Ground Effect Edition is currently for sale for £46,875. As always, customers can create their own custom-tailored vehicle from Project Kahn.
