It’s hard to top the Mercedes-Benz S-Class when it comes to luxury, quality, performance, and prestige all in one package. The German sedan has been at the head of the game for decades, and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. A.R.T. Tuning in Nuremberg decided to take it all to the next level with their new A.R.T. LS full upgrade program that encompasses everything to the exterior to the interior, suspension, and more.
The new A.R.T. LS upgrade package starts out with a full exterior transformation that keeps the understated high-class character of the German sedan. A new front spoiler with flanking air vents create a more dramatic fascia. As air moves towards the rear, it’s met by a pair of side skirts then a rear diffuser with dual Gunpowder-finished tailpipes. Above the new diffuser sits a trunk spoiler and a roof spoiler while new A.R.T. Tuning badges adorn the body.
As part of the transformation, the A.R.T. LS can be fitted with a range of in-house premium wheels. The featured models are 20-inch monoART4 wheels with a Gunpowder finish and 255/35 R20 97Y tires. In addition, monoART1 and monoART2 wheels are also available in a variety of finishes and hardware.
But the chassis upgrades don’t stop there. Customers that want more control, an A.R.T. Tuning offers a full electronic system that complements the factory air setup that allows for the height to be lowered up to 50 mm without affecting the factory diagnostics. Additionally, the A.R.T. LS can be outfitted with a full Sport Brake system that serves up some serious stopping power.
Those that are looking for some added power can opt for the A.R.T. ECU module. Designed for the 3.0-liter turbodiesel V-6 engines in the S 350 BlueTec models, this module boost output from 258 horsepower and 457 lb-ft. of torque to 310 horsepower and 516 lb-ft. of torque. A new dual-pipe sport exhaust system.
Inside, the A.R.T. LS can be outfitted with an array of custom-tailored materials such as leather and alcantara upholstery with custom stitching along with carbon fiber trim pieces. A new sport steering wheel can be installed that’s individually-sized to the driver for better grip and control. New floor mats and carpeting are also available to customers.
While the new A.R.T. LS isn’t a hardcore horsepower monster, it’s a specially-tailored upgrade program for owners of the W222 Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
