A few extra goodies for the mini four-door coupe.
Schmidt Revolution has been transforming the look, feel, and confidence of cars for years with their range of alloy wheels. The latest to get the special treatment is the Mercedes-AMG CLA45. Not only does it have a more athletic, clean look, but it also has the power to back it all up.
The first part of the fun came from Speed-Box/Raceland who lowered the entire suspension by 25 mm thanks to a set of new H&R springs. This allowed the new Schmidt Revolution alloy wheels to sit flush with the fenders of the Mercedes-AMG CLA45, but leave just enough space where there is no contact. This was achieved by scanning each of the wheel wells and making a custom set of their Gambit wheels.
The flush fitment utilizes a 46- and 42 offset at the front and rear for the Schmidt Revolution Gambit wheels to achieve the perfect look and setup. Each one of the 19-inch alloys was outfitted with 235/35 R19 wheels and given a Satin Black finished with brushed outer lip to give some contrast to the massive red-painted brake calipers peering out from behind. Each wheel can also be had with a concave depth up to 24 mm for an even more powerful, performance-oriented look.
While the new Schmidt Revolution Gambit wheels are the stars of the show, the turbocharged inline-four was also given a healthy dose of power. The hand-built 2.0-liter motor was outfitted with a new software tune from Chiptuning resulting in a fun 400 horsepower output.
Elsewhere, Schmidt Revolution had an OEM rear wing installed for a touch of extra downforce and style while a Speed-Box logo with black side strips were installed as well.
All of the upgrades featured on the Mercedes-AMG CLA45 are currently available including the Schmidt Revolution Gambit wheels that can be custom-tailored for a specific vehicle application.
