Because LP900 sounds so much better.
Earlier this year, DMC Exotic Car Tuning previewed their new Aventador LP900 Molto Veloce upgrade program that had everyone excited for its potential. Heck, we were white-knuckled just from looking at the pictures and the preliminary specifications. The wait is finally over; we finally have all the official parts lists and specifications that will make you drool over the power and engineering packed into the former super car because it’s now a hyper car.
First off, the engine is not even close to being stock whatsoever. The 6.5-liter V-12 doesn’t even bear the same name. Instead, it’s branded as the “LP900”. The DMC Aventador LP900 was outfitted with a new intake throttle plate system that features 12 individual plates – one per cylinder – as opposed to the original overhead valves. Many of the original components such as the fuel lines, injectors, pumps, and air pressure modulators, were replaced with new components that work in conjunction with a new engine management system. The final modification to the Aventador LP900 is a titanium exhaust that weighs in at just 7.6 lbs. compared to the 75 lb. stock system and helps push output to the 900 horsepower mark.
But then there’s the new carbon fiber Molto Veloce styling package, which doesn’t take away from the original design of the car. Instead, it complements it and better yet, it can be easily installed or removed thanks to its OEM quality fitment. The Molto Veloce kit for the DMC Aventador features a redesigned front fascia with a large splitter and new spoiler that help generate downforce for the front axle. A pair of carbon fiber side skirts helps to cut down on drag and improve the overall stability of the Aventador LP900. Completing the package is a rear diffuser/tunnel combination that works along with the large rear spoiler wing to create a large amount of downforce for better overall handling.
DMC Exotic Car Tuning can also install a completely redesigned interior along with new concave wheels with a custom finish to match or contrast the exterior color scheme.
The new DMC Aventador LP900 can be installed on the Lamborghini LP700 through the worldwide dealership network, but they suggest shipping the car to their German or Swiss workshops. The Molto Veloce body kit is available for 25,000 Euros, the wheels for 10,000 Euros, the interior for 10,000, and the titanium exhaust lists for 5,500 Euros.
