Black Bullet Fairlady Z.
For the 2013 model year, Nissan reduces the price of the 370Z by almost 6,000 Euros for the European market. That means that there’s more money to spend on modifications, and the Senner Tuning 370Z is the perfect blueprint for the new budget.
The 3.7-liter V-8 beneath the hood of the sports car was one of the first aspects addressed by the German tuner. The Senner Tuning 370Z was outfitted with a new, in-house stainless steel exhaust system that includes a fan-type pipe, 400-cell sports catalytic converters, front muffler and cross-pipe, and dual 63.5 mm pipes that let out a thunderous roar. A new Injen cold air intake with hydro-sheild wind deflector to prevent hydrolock was also installed along with a new ECU software tune. The modifications bring the factory 326 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque up to a fun 368 horsepower and 299 lb-ft. of torque.
In addition to the ECU tune, the Senner Tuning 370Z was outfitted with an electronic power converter that improves throttle response and the speed limiter was removed. Senner Tuning also installed a new gear and rear axle upgrade kit complete with a new oil additive for better and smoother overall performance.
The Senner Tuning 370Z also sports a more nimble chassis tuned for the twisties. The suspension was modified with new KW Variant 3 Inox coilovers with adjustable compression and rebound characteristics as well as a new pair of adjustable control levers for the rear axle that offer variable toe and camber settings. The factory Nissan wheels were replaced with a set of fresh Work Varianza T1S wheels in a wide 9.0 x 20 front and 11.0 x 21 rear with 245/30R20 and 295/25R20 Continental Sport Contact 5P tires. The Senner Tuning team gave each wheel a high gloss black center to match the car’s exterior while the rest of the wheels and hardware sport a shimmering chrome finish.
Carbon fiber was the name of the game on the Senner Tuning 370Z both inside and out. The lightweight material is worn by the door handle recesses, cooling plates, speedometer cover and rotary speed sensor, and trim pieces. Three new gauges are worn on the A-pillar and covered in carbon fiber while Audiotyme installed a new high-quality sound system. The exterior sports a set of black Fairlady Z badges and a dark tint to match the black paint.
All of the components featured on the black Senner Tuning 370Z are available for the coupe and convertible variants from the German tuning company. Pricing has not been released.
