One fun four-door coupe.
The Audi A5 has been incredibly popular since it was first unveiled thanks to its smooth and curvy figure, and modern design language. For those that love the look of the coupe but need the practicality of the sedan, Audi has the perfect flavor in the form of a four-door coupe Sportback version. This also extends to the more performance-oriented S5, and the team at Senner Tuning has worked their magic on the sporty four-door coupe.
The Audi specialists at Senner Tuning took the supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine in the S5 Sportback and injected a bit of adrenaline with some new upgrades. Drawing in cold air is an Injen Black Edition Cold Air Intake while a new ECU software tune optimizes all the electronics and removes the top speed limiter. To sharpen up throttle response, the German tuner installed a new power module. To show off the added power, a cat-back exhaust system with integrated valves was installed. These valves are controlled by the exhaust gas pressure or can be adjusted via an optional remote control between three different volume modes. The addition of these upgrades equate to a strong 446 horsepower and 377 lb-ft. of torque with a 186 mph top speed.
Putting that power to the asphalt is the job of a new set of Work Schwert SC1 wheels while KW Variant 3 coilovers sharpen up handling. The new Work Schwert SC1 wheels were installed in a staggered 9.0 x 20 with 91 mm lip up front and a 10.5 x 20 with 100 mm lip at the rear. Each of these chromium-silver finished wheels with high-gloss anodized outer rims wear new high-performance Continental Sport Contact 5P tires measuring 245/30R20 and 295/25R20 for loads of grip. Ensuring that the new wheels sit snug in the Audi S5 Sportback are KW Variant 3 coilovers that can be adjusted in terms of height, damping, and rebound for the perfect ride setup in any situation.
The finishing touches on the Audi S5 Sportback give the car a brand new, commanding presence. Senner Tuning gave the four-door coupe a full black matte metallic wrap and an LED-illuminated license plate. Inside, the DVD system can be activated while driving thanks to a new modification.
