Audi has recently jumped into the “four-door coupe” game with the sleek and sexy A7. Competing directly with the Mercedes-Benz CLS (the one that started it all) Audi’s hopes were to make a car that was sportier and more modern than the big ‘Benz. The engineers at Senner Tuning have given Audi a leg up in the “sport” department with the new A7 Sportback tuning program.
The new Senner Tuning A7 Sportback focuses on the torque-filled but economy-minded 3.0-liter turbodiesel V-6 engine. The 242 horsepower and 369 lb-ft. engine offers respectable performance stock, but it packed with more power that was just begging to be unleashed. The German tuner has installed a new engine program along with a dual 90 mm stainless steel exhaust to push output to 306 horsepower and a meaty 457 lb-ft. of torque. The top speed has also been pushed back from the stock 155 mph to 174 mph with an ECU adjustment.
The design of the Senner Tuning A7 Sportback is sleek, sexy, and dynamic. To accentuate the athletic appearance, Senner Tuning has revised the suspension and installed new wheels. The entire four-door coupe has been lowered by 30 mm by altering the air suspension for better agility. New VARA T1S wheels in a black polished finish have been fitted and measure 9.5 x 20 at the front and rear. For better grip, the seven double-spoke wheels have been equipped with 275/35 R20 Ultrac Sessanta tires.
The entire package for the new Senner Tuning A7 Sportback is currently available from the German company. Customers can also purchase individual accessories for the Audi A7. Pricing has not been released.
