Formula 1 racing is one of the most popular racing series in the world. In 2008, approximately 600 million people watched each race globally, making it one of the most watched sporting events. But, Rome wasn’t built in a day and the greatest single-seater racing series in the world has quite a storied history that has resulted in a great deal of technology seen in production cars today.
Thankfully, the folks at Team-Sport in the UK created a fun infographic for all of us Formula 1 fans that quickly details the history of how the racing series came about and grew into such a big business.
