The newest Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Estate by SR Performance and FolienCenter-NRW is a superb vehicle. The two companies teamed up and showcased the best of their abilities to create a sports wagon that we can all lust after. FolienCenter-NRW took care of the visual styling with a brand new exterior wrap while SR Performance used its tuning prowess to shred some tires.
The 6.2-liter, naturally-aspirated hand-built V-8 engine beneath the hood of the C63 AMG Estate was given a full dose of power thanks to SR Performance. The team installed a pair of BMC air filters to draw in more cool air while Milltek racing catalytic converters and pre-catalytic converter replacement pipes help to optimize backpressure. After the hardware was installed, SR Performance gave the C63 AMG a software tune for the ECU that pushed output to 540 horsepower and 490 lb-ft. of tire-shredding torque.
Putting all that power to the road is a refined chassis that’s built to handle some abuse in style. The suspension is modified with a set of Bilstein PSS 10 coilovers that sharpen up dynamics for the Estate. The C63 AMG is finished off by SR Performance with a set of BBS CH-R lightweight alloy wheels in an 8.5 x 19 front and 9.5 x 19 rear setup with 235/35R19 and 265/30 R19 Continental Sport Contact 5 tires.
After the performance upgrades were installed, it was FolienCenter-NRW’s turn to transform the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Estate into a thing of beauty. They chose to feature their new Matte Bond Gold Metallic wrap for the entire exterior of the sports wagon. To give the vibrant wrap some contrast, they applied a glossy black wrap to the roof, roof rails, and door handles, while the fog light covers, side mirrors, radiator cowl, and front badge were all painted black.
