German refinement for a British sports car.
Startech, the division of Brabus that focuses on British marques, has taken the athletic Jaguar F-Type to another level in terms of style and design. The designers have created a full carbon fiber aerodynamic kit, tacked on some new wheels, and added on their unique touch to create a truly exclusive British sports car.
The entire body kit developed for the Jaguar F-Type by Startech is entirely manufactured from carbon fiber to provide a high-strength solution without adding a great deal of weight. Each part wears a total of ten layers to create a unique three-dimensional appearance.
To start things off, the front fascia of the Jaguar F-Type was outfitted with a new Startech replacement for the lower bumper that visually lowers the sports car while reducing lift. A larger spoiler lip extends forwards then trails off into raised flaps along each side of the bumper. To reference the power making the Jaguar purr, new carbon scoops are positioned on both sides of the raised section of the hood.
Running down each side of the Jaguar F-Type are unique parts that pay homage to the car’s heritage. Both side mirrors are given carbon fiber covers while new carbon fiber fenders replace the factory units. These vertical carbon fiber slats sit behind the wheels and feature a unique carbon fiber Union Jack flag with Startech logo paying homage to its British roots.
At the rear, the Jaguar F-Type is more powerful thanks to a new carbon fiber diffuser. Startech’s new clear-coated diffuser utilizes air deflectors and a center LED fog light similar to those found in Formula One racers. Four new exhaust tips are integrated into the production exhaust system and finish off the muscular design of the rear.
To complete the exterior design, the F-Type was outfitted with new Startech Monostar S forged wheels. The one-piece wheels feature a concave design at the rear that creates a wide, powerful stance. The fitment was tailored specifically for the F-Type by Startech and features 9.0J x 21 up front with 255/30 ZR21 tires while the rear comes in at 10.5 x 21 with 305/25 ZR21 tires to grip the road.
Inside, Startech went all-out when it came to refining the Jaguar F-Type. The upholstery shop outfitted the interior with soft brown and red nappa leather with diamond stitching on the seats and doors, and continuous piping. Even the headliner and floor mats are trimmed in leather. On the featured show car, a shimmering mirror-polished piano wood inlay is featured on the dashboard while customers can also choose from other carbon fiber or precious wood trims. New illuminated door sills with the Startech logo and color-coordinated floor mats are also available.
The new Startech Jaguar F-Type is currently available as a full upgrade program or as individual options. Pricing has not been released.
