Stratmosphere Inc. hosts a day of Euro-tuned horsepower.
Since 1999, Stratmosphere Inc. has been a premier tuner, importer, developer, manufacturer, and distributer of performance products that bring Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Mini, and BMW automobiles to life. Founded by car enthusiasts Bob Hamme and Peter Ryckaert, the company has grown to be a premier APR dealer and is located in a state-of-the-art facility backed by an experienced team that is ready to push your car to its full potential.
To showcase the capabilities and products they offer, Stratmosphere hosted an open house/get together for all automotive enthusiasts at their Victor, NY facility. Guests were given an all-access pass to the modern facility for an exclusive behind the scenes look at the cutting-edge garage, warehouse, and office area. The event saw a host of Audis ranging from tuned S4s to the off-road capable Allroad, stunning Porsches, BMW M3s, and many other performance-oriented European cars. The car that stole the show was Stratmosphere’s tuned Ibis White 2010 Audi S4 piloted by APR Motorsport’s Aaron Povoledo.
In August, Stratmosphere Inc. became one of the select few to receive the distinction of being an APR Premier Master Dealer. To celebrate their new partnership with APR and demonstrate the tuning prowess of APR, Aaron Povoledo took guests for the ride of their life in the 2010 Audi S4. While the new S4 boasted stunning Flashpoint wheels, there was something more sinister hiding under the hood, a supercharged V-6 packing an APR tune, Milltek exhaust, and Hyperflow intake. Guests were treated to a roller coaster ride with Aaron behind the wheel as the supercharger’s scream and screeching tires drowned out the gasps of passengers. The high-powered spectacle proved Stratmosphere and APR’s capability to push the limits of engineered performance without sacrificing quality. As for the passengers, they are still recovering from the mind-blowing performance.
In addition to being an APR Premier Master Dealer, Stratmosphere is North America’s exclusive importer of Milltek Sport exhausts and V-Maxx suspensions. The Victor, NY-based company also develops, designs, and manufactures the line of Hyperboost diverter valves, Hyperflow induction systems, Hypershift short shifters, and Flashpoint exhausts and wheels. Currently, Stratmosphere is home to a 2010 Audi S4, 2009 Audi A4 2.0T Avant, 2009 Volkswagen CC Sport, 2008 Volkswagen R32, and 2001 Volkswagen Eurovan.
