TechArt Black Edition Porsche Panamera Exposed

TechArt Black Edition

A stunning 500 horsepower matte black beast.

Dressed in a striking cloak of matte black paint, the new TechArt Black Edition exudes a sinister presence. Everything from the daytime running light system to the brake calipers is dressed in the shadowy black paint. For an enhanced appearance and increased aerodynamics, TechArt has fitted the TechArt Aerodynamic Kit I, which consists of numerous spoilers, and trim pieces. At the front is a new front spoiler and headlight trims, along with the TechArt multifunctional daytime running lights that also wear a black tint. The rear flaunts a large wing, spoilers, and diffuser for added downforce at high speeds.

Rounding off the dark exterior is a set of TechArt Formula II five-spoke light alloy monoblock wheels. Measuring 22 inches all around, the monoblock wheels reduce unsprung mass for better driving performance. Behind the lightweight wheels are matte black calipers, highlighted by a gleaming red TechArt logo.

The powerful 500 horsepower twin-turbocharged engine of the Porsche Panamara Turbo remains largely unchanged, except for the new TechArt Sport exhaust system that bellows a threatening exhaust note. Accelerating to 60 mph takes just 4.0 seconds, as the four-door sprints to a top speed of 188 mph.

TechArt Black Edition

Inside the TechArt Black Edition is a sea of black – everywhere. From the cup holder to the air vents, matte black paint covers the interior. Accentuating the dark cabin is hand-sewed decorative stitching and piping in flamenco red, giving the Black Edition a sporty feel. Besides the matte black trim, door entry guards, and PDK gearshifter, TechArt also offers a matte black Carbon Kit for the front and rear consoles, dashboard, and door panel trim. Additionally, the Black Edition also features the three-spoke TechArt Porsche PDK sport steering wheel, offering greater control and comfort over the stock steering wheel.

The TechArt Black Edition is currently available through TechArt. Pricing for the sinister matte black Panamera will start at 220.000 Euro (+/- 296,500 USD).
