The new Porsche 991 911 has yet to arrive at dealerships worldwide and TechArt is already unveiling a new individualization package for the sports car. Talk about beating everyone to the punch! The new kit is rather basic, but gives new 911 owners a list of options and upgrades before some of the more hardcore tuning programs and other 911 variants are unveiled.
The new Porsche 991 911 is sleeker, longer, and offers more performance than ever. To accentuate these characteristics, TechArt has designed new exterior bodywork and trim pieces. Just like TechArt Porsche models of the past, customers will be able to order new front and rear bumpers, spoilers, new side sills, side mirrors, and more in either body colored finishes or carbon fiber. TechArt also offers their five double-spoke Formula III lightweight forged wheels in Sterling Silver or custom paint. The wheels reduce weight and unsprung mass compared to the stock Porsche rims and adds a touch of style.
TechArt gives customers that option to customize the interior of the new 911 as well. The motorsport-inspired layout can be given a custom leather and alcantara treatment with unique stitching, matched with carbon fiber or colored dashboard and door trim. For 911s with the PDK transmission, TechArt can install a three-spoke sports steering wheel with paddle shifters.
TechArt is also currently developing a power kit for the new Porsche 911. The kit should include a software optimization program and exhaust system to free up a few ponies from both 3.4- and 3.8-liter engines.
The new TechArt Aerodynamic Kit I and power kit for the new Porsche 911 will be unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. Pricing and availability have not been announced.
