TechArt introduces the all-new Tuning Suite for the facelifted Porsche 911 Carrera S and 4S just in time for the holidays.
The new performance kit for the Carrera S and 4S will undoubtedly create a concert of racing music unlike any other stainless steel instrument. The exhaust system features two stainless steel racing headers, a sport catalytic converter, rear mufflers with exhaust flaps, an exhaust flap control unit, and is topped off with high-gloss or black chrome oval tailpipes. With new ECU software, TechArt has created a performance increase of 35 horsepower in the upper rpm range. An optional “Sport” exhaust system features the same racing melody but does not include the increase in horsepower.
TechArt was able to achieve exhilarating handling dynamics through TechArt sport springs coupled with the VARIO coilover suspension. For 911’s equipped with PASM, TechArt offers a VARIO PLUS suspension. The two setups utilize special main and additional springs, as well as coilover shock absorbers with an adjustable rebound and pressure stage. To prevent the nail biting run-ins with curbsides and speed bumps an optional nose lift system raises the vehicle by 60 mm at speeds up to 37 mph. An assortment of three wheels is available from TechArt. Five-spoke Formula and Formula II wheels are available in either a single piece or composite design, while 19 or 20-inch Formula III forged wheels with an optional twin spoke design are available.
Born in a wind tunnel, the Aerokit I utilizes polyurethane (PUR-RIM) components to increase downforce. The rear wing features back pressure air vents and an adjustable gurney flap. Cooling the brakes is a new front spoiler that optimizes airflow, and along with the new side skirts and rear diffuser, allows for greater stability at high speeds. Optional carbon fiber side mirrors and decorative headlamp surrounds create an agile and tasteful character.
The abundance of interior options trumps even the seemingly endless factory available preferences from Porsche. An assortment of fine leathers, trim strips, aluminum pedals, and color-coordinated sports steering wheels create an exclusive cabin with limitless designs and quality TechArt craftsmanship.
