The Audi RS Q3 might be a small, high-output crossover SUV, but after the team at ABT Sportsline works their magic, it becomes a red-hot hatchback thanks to some tuning, lowering, and restyling. The crossover is more potent, wider, lower, and more aggressive thanks to the new ABT RS Q3 package and its closer to being a hot hatch than an SUV.
At the heart of the ABT RS Q3 is the award-winning 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-five that is used in a variety of high-performance Audi models. The German tuning specialists installed their ABT Power New Generation upgrade kit with standalone control unit to boost output by almost 20-percet. After the upgrade, a total of 410 horsepower and 391 lb-ft. is produced by the five-pot, giving the crossover even more attitude. The engine also shows its added power through a new stainless steel muffler setup with quad 89-mm tailpipes.
Going along nicely with the new tune on the ABT RS Q3 is a wider, more athletic stance. A new suspension kit allows drivers to reduce the ride height between 15- and 45 mm at the front and rear axles for a better center of gravity in the turns. New ABT DR wheels measuring 9.0 x 21 with Continental or Dunlop sports tires are paired up with 4 x 15 mm or 4 x 25 mm wheel spacers for a low, wide stance. As an option, customers can also choose ER-C and FR wheels in a variety of finishes as well.
Visually, the ABT RS Q3 is more confident and sporty. A full body decal set in red or black along with a rear decal set in Anthracite, gloss Black, Silver, or Grid-Look can be applied to make the high-performance crossover stand out even more. A new skirt setup at the rear makes room for the quad tailpipes and also hints at the power hiding beneath the hood. New ABT mirror caps complete the updated look.
Inside, ABT Sportsline gave the RS Q3 some simple upgrades such as new floor and trunk mats, along with door entrance lights.
The new ABT Sportsline RS Q3 is currently available as a complete program. Customers also have the option to pick and choose different upgrades for their Audi RS Q3 as well.
