Timeless racing beauty.
The Lowenbrau Porsche 962 was quite a special race car as it won the 24 Hours of Daytona twice along with a number of other races. The Porsche 962 was a thing to behold in the past; Porsche made only 91 models with 16 of them being used by the factory race team.
The Porsche 962 was built to replace the 956 racecar that was banned in the United States for safety reasons, and raced in the European Group C and IMSA GTP series.
The Lowenbrau Porsche 962 was driven by Al Holbert and Derek Bell. Numerous races and endurance racing series were won by the Lowenbrau Porsche 962, cementing itself as one of the most storied Porsche racecars of all time.
