The Flying Huntsman 110 WB 6X6 Concept has grabbed headlines for its innovative and bold design since the start of 2015. It’s easy to see why with its large, commanding presence and six wheels ready to chew through any kind of terrain with ease.
Afzal Kahn and his team have created a truly unique and inspiring automotive statement with the Flying Huntsman 110 WB 6X6 both inside and out. Design and functionality mesh perfectly and set the SUV into the upper-tier of automotive prestige.
This featured Flying Huntsman 110 WB 6X6 was shown at the Billing Land Rover Show to much acclaim. Afzal Kahn and his talented team took a Land Rover Defender and extended it by 800 mm at the rear cabin, 400 mm at the hood, and widened the SUV by 150 mm. The entire chassis is 400 mm longer than a factory Defender and sports an additional rear axle to create a two front-wheel and four back-wheel layout. Six total 9.0 x 20 Mondial concave wheels in Volcanic Black with 275/55/20 Cooper LTZ tires instantly grab attention with their unconventional setup. A beefed up chassis, suspension, and braking ensures that nothing is off limits on any terrain.
Powering the Flying Huntsman 110 WB 6X6 beast is a General Motors LS3 V-8 engine churning out 430 horsepower. That power is sent to all six wheels through a GM six-speed automatic with hi-lo ratio drive and locking differentials. A stainless steel cross-hair exhaust system spits out an almost brutal V-8 sound.
Aside from the extensions and added pair of wheels, the Flying Huntsman 110 WB 6X6 was redesigned with an exclusive touch. The entire SUV wears a Volcanic Rock Satin paint from the custom fenders to the exhaust shields.
Inside, luxury is the name of the game. New GTB Sports seats in quilted and perforated leather with 100-percent Abraham Moon Skye Almandine inserts add an opulent touch of comfort. Quilted and perforated leather also adorns the center console, roof, and other aspects of the dashboard, door panels, and more. A single-spoke leather steering wheel also provides a unique touch for drivers. Exclusive features such as the Flying Huntsman trunk sill plate, Churchill time clock fascia insert, and gauges further place the SUV into the upper echelon of luxury motoring.
