Wrapping is the latest and greatest thing in the automotive world today as it allows owners to completely redesign their vehicle without damaging the paint or force to fork up the money for re-painting. Folien Experte has been performing these transformations since 2007 in Germany and their latest work includes one vibrant red Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG.
The feisty A45 AMG was outfitted with a full matte chrome red wrap by Folien Experte that has a smooth, vibrant shimmer and eye-catching red hue. AMG-specific parts such as the aerodynamic body work, roof, side mirrors and badges were kept bare and contrast with their black finish. A special ‘AMG’ graphic that runs the length of the hot hatch to add more contrast.
Beneath the matte chrome red wrap sits a set of Brabus Monoblock F wheels wearing a similar black finish. The 8.5 x 19 wheels are shod with 235/35 R19 Pirelli P-Zero tires for all the grip drivers will ever need. To make it all work, new KW Variant 3 coilovers lower the ride height and sharpen up handling even more.
More fun comes in the form of power underneath the hood. The turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four cylinder engine with 355 horsepower, stock gains a new set of racing air filters, cat-less kit and sports exhaust system, and chip tuning software to optimize everything. This brings the total output up to a whopping 435 horsepower from the small, hand-built AMG engine.
The Folien Experte matte chrome red Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG is currently available as an upgrade package from the German company. The entire wrapping is priced at 4,200 Euros, the suspension for 3,000 Euros, and wheel and tire combo for 4,500 Euros. The engine upgrades can be installed for 7,117 Euros with an optional 498-Euro one-year warranty.
