The Kicherer Mercedes-Benz ML63 “Carbon Series” made its public debut alongside the Kicherer CLS500 “Edition Black”, its German stable mate. Unlike the CLS’s matte black foil, the new ML63 “Carbon Series” is covered in a coat of, you guessed it, carbon fiber foil. The SUV isn’t just about looks; it also boasts a more potent naturally-aspirated engine, and dynamic handling upgrades.
The Kicherer ML63 “Carbon Series” stands out from the matte black crowd proudly wearing a smooth carbon fiber skin. The carbon fiber foil was developed and installed by Kicherer and gives the ML63 AMG a powerful appearance without conformity. Large 23-inch wheels are fitted to all four corners with a matte black finish to correspond with the carbon fiber foiling. An electronic chassis adjustment provides an athletic lowered stance that echoes the performance of the 6.2-liter V-8.
Under the carbon foil-wrapped hood of the ML63 Carbon Series sits a tuned version of the AMG 6.2-liter V-8. Kicherer has pushed output to 540 horsepower and 472 lb-ft. of torque, thus resulting in quicker acceleration times and a top speed over 155 mph. The engine also receives a specially-designed stainless-steel exhaust system that unleashes the hounds of hell with a furious exhaust note.
The entire package is completed with an interior of carbon leather and alcantara for a more luxurious ride.
The Kicherer Mercedes-Benz ML63 “Carbon Series” is currently available as a complete package or as individual accessories. Pricing has not been announced.
