As the Gallardo is being phased out for a newer model, Lamborghini is coming out with all sorts of special performance variants so that it goes out with a bang. The latest performance model is the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse and it now has a price tag.
The new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse was designed to bring the Gallardo Super Trofeo race car from the single-make series to the road for enthusiasts to enjoy. The supercar was outfitted with all sorts of carbon fiber and a naturally-aspirated 570 horsepower engine with a curb weight of just 2,954 lbs.
Only 50 of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse models will be produced with 15 of them coming to the United States, and another three going north of the border into Canada. The car will only be available in Giallo Midas (yellow) too, so if you’re not a fan of the color, you’d better find a good company to install a wrap.
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse will start at $259,100 and not include the lovely $2,100 gas guzzler tax and destination charges. That six-figure price tag ensures you’ll have one of only 50 of these bad boys, each with individual numbering. Deliveries will start in September of 2013.
