A British take on Italian super cars.
The bespoke coachbuilders at Prindiville Design in London have just unveiled their new Aventador and Aventador J models, with the former being limited to just eight examples. Just like the original, one-off Lamborghini Aventador J that sold for $2.76 million, the Prindiville Aventador J is a one-of-a-kind concept car that, as of now, will only be offered to the sole owner original model produced by Lamborghini.
The Prindiville Aventador J was also designed to showcase many of the bespoke upgrades that the London-based coachbuilder will offer on the eight exclusive Aventador models. The Aventador J Concept will wear carbon fiber body panels to reduce weight and contribute to more agile handling and better performance. Improving upon the driving characteristics even further will be an adjustable suspension and upgraded brakes that utilize ceramic discs for consistent stopping power.
Under the mid-mounted hood of the Prindiville Aventador J sits the new 6.5-liter V-12 engine developed by Lamborghini for their new super car. The naturally-aspirated V-12 receives a 15 percent increase in power thanks to the addition of a custom titanium or stainless steel exhaust system and remapped ECU. The two upgrades push the overall output to a massive 805 horsepower, reducing the 0-62 sprint time down to 2.5 seconds and the top speed back to over 220 mph.
The interior of the Prindiville Design Lamborghini Aventador J will be custom-tailored with a touch of luxury for the one-off super car. Soft jet black leather and alcantara is worn by both of the seats, both of which feature a Prindiville Design logo in the backs. As an option, the upholstery colors can be designed to match or contrast the exterior color in matte or metallic. Facing both passengers are new precision-milled aluminum air vents.
The Prindiville Aventador J offers a bit more comfort and convenience compared to the original model. Although the original lacked any kind of entertainment system, the concept by Prindiville Design features surround sound with 1,000-watt hand built Italian subwoofers. A five-inch LCD screen allows drivers to experience the Prindiville Entertainment system with DVD and satellite navigation. The navigation software has been fine tuned to include maps and telemetry of popular racetracks around the world.
Prindiville Design created the one-off Aventador J concept to showcase the range of upgrades for customers of the Lamborghini Aventador. The British coachbuilder is also offering eight limited edition Lamborghini Aventador models for customers worldwide.
