The starting point for something greater.
After some turbulent times, Gemballa is under new ownership and back to creating some of the most exciting Porsche upgrades on the market. One of the latest creations from the German tuner is the new Gemballa 911 design package for the new Porsche 991. While the program may not be as extensive as others, it offers customers a great deal of functionality and design options.
The new Gemballa 911 features a three-part aerodynamic body kit made from lightweight carbon fiber. The entire kit was designed by Gemballa to complement the sleek and wide lines of the new Porsche 991 generation 911 Carrera and Carrera S. A new front bumper features larger air intakes while each side wears muscular skirts, and the rear is finished off with a new rear bumper that accommodates the upgraded exhaust system.
One of the unique aspects of the new body kit is that the components are easily mounted and replace the standard body work without requiring modification. The kit has been designed to accommodate future Gemballa upgrades and can be removed without hassle.
The Gemballa 911 design package also includes a new exhaust system with distinct end tips. The system is available for both the 3.4-liter and 3.8-liter flat-six engines of the Carrera and Carrera S, each ending with six exhaust outlets which easily fit into the upgraded rear bumper.
Completing the Gemballa 911 design package are a set of new, lightweight forged wheels. The 21-inch, five double-spoke wheels weigh less than the stock 19- and 20-inch wheels that come standard on the new 991 models.
The Gemballa 911 design package is currently available. The kit is the starting point for future upgrades that will include the Gemballa Avalanche model. Pricing has not been released.
