Two renowned British brands are collaborating to create special, lightweight driver’s shoe that is the perfect complement to an Aston Martin super car. Aston Martin has teamed up with British shoemaker, John Lobb, for the Winner Sport line of driving shoes.
The new John Lobb winner Sport shoe line was designed by Marek Reichman, Director of Design at Aston Martin, and Andrés Hernández, Creative Director at John Lobb. The new Wimmer Sport shoes were designed to reflect the quality, craftsmanship, and classic British style that both brands are known for.
Each of the new John Lobb Winner Sport shoes will be made around the 8695 last shoe, and feature full-grain calfskin and sheepskin liner. The sleek sports car look is mirrored in the bonded rubber sole that wraps underneath the shoe. Padded ankle support offers greater amounts of comfort, and metallic eyelets and a wheel of holes were added for a touch of style.
The John Lobb Winner Sport line will feature either red or white contrasting laces. Graphite Grey, Winter Wheat, Frost White and Saddle Tan colors will be offered with a Sporty Stratos White rubber sole, while Storm Black, Bitter Chocolate, Westminster Green and Aurora Blue colors will feature a Racy Fire Red sole.
The new Winner Sport line will be previewed at the Aston Martin W-One store at London’s Park Lane and at John Lobb Jermyn Street in March. The line of shoes will be available for purchase in May from select John Lobb and Aston Martin stores across the globe.
