For quite some time, the Porsche Cayman has been considered by many to be “neutered” as to prevent the car from competing with the iconic 911. That all changed in 2015 when the German automaker unveiled the Porsche Cayman GT4 – a track-focused version that pushed the model to its limits, and boy was it well received.
Every detail was looked at and optimized for increased performance in the Cayman GT4. Power was bumped up to 345 horsepower, the chassis was lowered and fine-tuned, weight was cut down to 2,995 lbs. (curb), and new aerodynamics were added.
While the new Porsche Cayman GT4 is arguably the perfect Porsche sports car, Vorsteiner decided that it could make things even better with a few specially-designed aerodynamics. Called the Vorsteiner Cayman GT4-V, the new kit includes a trio of carbon fiber parts that improves stability and handling even more.
The new Vorsteiner Cayman GT4-V starts with a new VCS Aero front spoiler that extends downwards and outwards for a more aggressive and powerful look. Along each side of the mid-engined sports car are VCS Aero side blades that calm airflow as it moves towards the rear wheels. The final touch is a new VCS Aero rear diffuser that incorporates the center-mounted factory dual exhaust while channeling airflow more efficiently.
Armed with the new aero, the Vorsteiner Cayman GT4-V is ready to take on the track with confidence.
