Top speed king.
We all know the Koenigsegg One:1 is an absolute monster in terms of performance and on-paper specifications. There’s 1,346 bhp at 7,500 RPM in a car that weighs just 2,998 lbs. That gives a whole new meaning to the word “acceleration”.
At the Vmax200 event, a Koenigsegg One:1 set not one, not two, but three different records all in one day. Running on E85 fuel with WEC LMP1 driver, Oliver Webb, behind the wheel, the previous 229-mph record was broken on three different runs. First, 230 mph was achieved, followed by a 235 mph run with a passenger, then a 240 mph run was completed to finish it all off.
Now that’s how you break a record!
