#TBT #Trending #Hashtag #SoViral
Okay, so now that all of that wannabe cool and hip social media crap is out of the way, we can get to the good stuff. In fact, that whole #ThrowbackThursday or #TBT is just a good excuse for us to bring you two awesome videos hidden in the YouTube sphere that you may or may not have seen before. Either way, they’re both definitely worth a watch.
The first is a video detailing the incredible triumphs and advantage that Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system gave them in the realm of motorsports. From road racing to rallies and Group B, Audi’s Quattro-powered vehicles dominated. The compilation of film from all over the late 80s and early 90s is appropriately set to Simple Minds – Don’t You (Forget About Me).
Next up we have a compilation of classic DTM racing with the cars that we lust over to this day. Everything from Mercedes-Benz and BMW to Volvo and Ford battle it out on the track in the late 80s and early 90s. This was the golden age for DTM racing where contact was made and you tried to put your car up on three wheels as you hit a curb. This is real racing and where real drivers were made. There’s no better music than BAP’s Verdamp lang her powering in the background, building up the adrenaline even more.
