As production of the Pagani Zonda comes to an end, the Italian supercar-maker has one last hoorah for the car that put them on the map with a track-only version of the Zonda F – the Zonda R. Over 80 components have been redesigned with nothing but sheer performance in mind. Powered by the 750 bhp Mercedes-Benz AMG 6.0-liter V-12, the Zonda R lapped the Nürburgring in a record-setting 6 minutes and 47.5 seconds. To really showcase the extreme power and raw handling the Zonda R possesses, Fifth Gear’s Tiff Needell took it for a few memorable laps.
