The Land Rover Defender and off-road capability go hand-in-hand. The team at the Chelsea Truck Company understands this and have added a bit of brawn and class to this seven-passenger Land Rover Defender 2.4 TDCI XS 110 Chelsea Wide Track.
The boxy shape of the Defender is cloaked in a dark Orkney Grey paint, highlighted by Satin Black on the roof, side, and hood vents. The most powerful design aspect of the SUV is its muscular front and rear extended fenders with exposed hardware for a purposeful aesthetic.
Up front, the Defender Chelsea Wide Track illuminates a path with its shadow chrome headlights and tron lighting on the newly designed bumper. Between the dark-tinted headlights sits a color-matched X-Lander front grille. At the rear sits a new set of tough mud flaps, the stainless steel cross-hair exhaust system, and a Chelsea Truck Company spare wheel cover. Beneath the rugged fenders sit a set of 8.0 x 16 1948 Defend wheels finished in Satin Black with 275/55/20 tires.
Inside, things get a bit more opulent and comfortable compared to the brawny exterior. The Land Rover Defender Chelsea Wide Track was outfitted with new GTB sport seats in the front and middle rows and given Black Leather and Harris Tweed along with the rear bench seat. Harris Tweed also adorns the passenger dashboard top, sun visors, and grab handles on the roof. Soft quilted and perforated leather is worn atop the center console. A new leather and billet steering wheel faces the driver and machined aluminum foot pedals provide some extra grip. Keeping things clean during off-road driving are hard-wearing floor mats.
