New wheels and bodywork make for one smooth Turbo.
Porsche is already pumping out its 991-generation 911 models including the Turbo, but the team at Vorsteiner is still having all sorts of fun with the second-generation 997 911 Turbos. It’s amazing what a few aerodynamic upgrades and a new set of forged wheels can do for a car, and the Vorsteiner Porsche 911 Turbo V-RT is the perfect example.
The classic shape of the 911 Turbo gets a bit more aggressive with the new Vorsteiner V-RT front bumper. This gives the face of the supercar a more commanding presence and also incorporates a new set of carbon fiber brake ducts alongside a chin spoiler and grille insert for better overall aerodynamics. Those big side air intakes at the rear fenders were redesigned as part of the V-RT program and preview the fun that’s being had at the rear fascia. Here, a new Vorsteiner V-RT rear bumper was installed with a new carbon fiber diffuser and intercooler shrouds to optimize cooling and aerodynamics. Above the bumper sits a large V-RT wing with integrated twin air scoops that generates a large amount of downforce.
The Vorsteiner V-RT aerodynamic kit for the 997 Porsche 911 Turbo instantly adds a more powerful and athletic appearance, but it’s not finished until a new set of Vorsteiner VSM-310 forged wheels are added. On the featured black Porsche 911 Turbo, Vorsteiner installed a set of their multi-piece forged VSM-310 wheels with a gloss brushed shadow finish. The split-spoke wheels measure 9.0 x 20 up front and a wide 12.0 x 20 at the rear, and are fitted with high-performance 245/30/20 and 325/25/20 tires.
The final touch is a little treat for the interior. Vorsteiner installed a set of four embroidered velour floor mats inside the 911 Turbo to add a bit of comfort to the lower-half of the cabin.
All of the new Vorsteiner V-RT upgrades are available on the 997 Porsche 911 Turbo along with the custom-tailored forged VSM-310 wheels and floor mats.
