Taking things to the next level.
The success of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series in the Asian market led the Italian automaker to expand the one-make series into North America alongside the Tudor United Sports Car Championship, Continental Tire Challenge, and other series.
With the expansion, Vorsteiner saw an opportunity and took advantage. The aftermarket specialists teamed up with Lamborghini of Newport Beach, Global Motorsports Group (GMG) racing, and Protective Film Solutions for the No. 88 Huracán Super Trofeo that will participate in the new racing series.
At the unveiling event, the new livery of the car was showcased and the driver team of Jeffrey Cheng and James Sofronas was announced. Alongside the racers and other custom-tailored Lamborghini models was the new Vorsteiner Huracán with the Verona Aero program and some new forged wheels.
The newest Vorsteiner Huracán sports a carbon fiber front spoiler, Goose neck rear aero wing, and side skirts that generate downforce and improve high-speed stability and handling. The new Verona aero kit also gives the super car a sharper-edged, aggressive look as if it’s ready to tear up the track.
Also featured on the Huracán were Vorsteiner’s new two-piece V-201 forged wheels made from lightweight aluminum alloy. The V-201 forged wheels wear a smooth matte black finish and gloss hardware to create the perfect complement for the factory paint. Vorsteiner fitted the Huracán with the wheels in a staggered setup with the fronts measuring 20 inches in diameter and the rears coming in at 21 inches.
Expect big things from Vorsteiner in the future with their new sponsorship in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series in the USA and Canada.
