The new purple people eater.
In terms of on-track performance, it’s hard to top the dynamics and athleticism of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. It’s focused on one thing: taking home the checkered flag. And while improving upon that might be a difficult task, the team at Vorsteiner has managed to do so with a new aerodynamic kit and forged wheels that they are giving a preview of.
The raw power of the 4.0-liter flat-six engine that speeds to the stars is tough to control. The 500 horsepower, 338 lb-ft. of torque going through the PDK gearbox to the rear wheels is enough to send the 911 GT3 RS to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds from rest. That’s just insane, and when it’s coupled with the track-tuned suspension and weight-saving measures from the factory, it becomes a true track weapon.
Vorsteiner’s new 911 GT3 RS aerodynamics aim to hone performance even more with better downforce and improved cooling properties. A new carbon fiber lip, and fender vents up front generate downforce and dissipate heat created by the massive front brakes. New side skirts help the super car slip through air while new fender scoops feed more air into the engine bay. At the rear of the 911 GT3 RS, a new carbon optical wing blade with carbon end plates, and a rear diffuser will produce large amounts of downforce and improve overall high-speed stability even more.
Topping off the new Vorsteiner aerodynamic package will be a set of in-house three-piece forged wheels. The center-locking wheels help keep weight to a minimum for better overall performance without affecting the strength of the wheel.
The new Vorsteiner Porsche 911 GT3 RS aerodynamic and wheel program will be unveiled officially at a later date. For now, just use your imagination with this purple monster!
