Two behemoths battle it out.
Two of the biggest names in the hyper car world are Bugatti and Koenigsegg. The French and Swedish automakers have built some out-of-this-world fast cars and are always at the forefront of speed and power. It’s always a treat to see them raced, and these two beasts lined up to see who could accelerate quicker.
On one side is the legendary Bugatti Veyron with its quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W-16 engine throwing down a massive 1,001 metric horsepower and 922 lb-ft. of torque to all four wheels. The Koenigsegg CCXR spits out 1,018 metric horsepower and 782 lb-ft. of torque from its force-fed 4.7-liter V-8 engine using just the rear wheels to lay down the heat.
