America vs. Italy.
One of the great things about the Chevrolet Corvette (especially the C7) is that it offers up the performance of an exotic without the insane price tag. The new Corvette Z06 and its supercharged V-8 engine serves up 650 all-American ponies for under $100K. The Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 has 602 Italian bulls under its hood for about three-times the price of a Corvette Z06.
While one may be more exotic than the other, it’s quite entertaining to see them go head-to-head in a battle for the asphalt.
In one lane we have a Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 with an aftermarket exhaust while a Corvette Z06 with bolt-on upgrades sits in the other. The two mash the throttle from a rolling stop and the Corvette takes the win. Shortly thereafter, the two try a run from a stop. The Lamborghini gets the better launch with its all-wheel drive while the Corvette loses traction. However, it isn’t long until the American catches up for the win.
