Making a V-8 from start to finish.
There’s something special about knowing that the engine under your car’s hood has been built by hand. It means there’s that extra touch of detail and care that sets it apart from the rest. There are no robots or machines; it’s a work of art.
One of the few automakers that build every engine by hand is AMG. A single engineer creates the engine from start to finish, carefully arranging every little component to create a mechanical masterpiece. On every AMG engine sits a small plaque with the signature of the engineer that built that engine, as a badge of honor.
Thankfully, YouCar was able to follow the process from beginning to end at the AMG factory in Affalterbach, Germany.
