The Chevy Astro van is something that you never really want to be stuck driving, and definitely NOT a vehicle that is going to give you any sort of performance-oriented driving. This heavily-modified Astro van, however, is one badass box.
Armed with some serious modifications, this Astro van went to the drag strip to show a Lamborghini Gallardo a thing or two about acceleration. After an impressive launch, the boxy Astro racked up an 11.983-second quarter-mile time at 109.02 mph. The Gallardo did the same sprint in 12.182 mph at 118.61 mph.
While the Gallardo would’ve caught up to the van in a longer stretch of track based on the trap speed, the Astro van is undoubtedly quite the beast.
