Many automotive concept cars don’t see any sort of actual driving time and are just relegated to looking pretty at trade shows around the world. There’s nothing wrong with that, however it can be quite disappointing upon learning that they’re all show and no go.
The Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato concept is a bit different. While it’s just a design collaboration concept between Aston Martin and Zagato, it’s completely functional and can be driven like any other car, albeit with extreme care.
At the 2016 Concorso D’Eleganza Villa D’Este, the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato not only made an appearance but started up its 6.0-liter V-12 engine and gave a few revs to entertain show-goes and YouTube exhaust junkies like us.
Not only do you get a taste of the raspy, testosterone-filled British exhaust note, but you get a more detailed look at the design of the concept car, especially the unique LED taillights.
Just make a limited-run of these bad boys, Aston Martin. You know that you want to!
