Now that’s fast.
We all know the Bugatti Veyron is fast. The Super Sport was able to set a record for the fastest street-legal production car in the world with an incredible 267.856 mph top speed. However, it’s not often that you actually get to witness one of these hypercars break the 200 mph mark.
Earlier this month, the one-off Bugatti Veyron Super Sport Pur Blanc owned by Ben Chen sped down Highway 75 in Ketchum, Idaho during the Sun Valley Road Rally which sees the road shut down and transformed into a “no speed limit zone.”
The one-off Bugatti and its heart-pounding 1,200-horsepower 8.0-liter, quad-turbocharged, W-16 engine sped down Highway 75 and was able to reach a speed of 246.4 mph, verified by the show’s organizers.
It’s not often that you get to see $2.8 million flying past you at 246.4 mph!
