Dashcams are the best.
Whoever decided to start putting dashboard-mounted cameras in their vehicle in Russia and Eastern Europe deserves a medal. Thanks to you, we have countless hours of bizarre and outrageous footage that is better than any show on television.
Take this video for example. At a busy intersection in Ukraine, a normal, derelict P.O.S. car comes to a stop and then….poof! Flames shoot out from beneath the car and we have ourselves a good ol’ Russian bonfire!
Of course, people drive past the burning car as if it is some kind of everyday occurrence. Based on dashcam videos we’ve seen, burning cars are not out of the ordinary.
