Scary accident at the ADAC GT Masters.
On Sunday, the ADAC GT Masters was wrapping up their season at Hockenheim with the best from Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Chevrolet, Porsche, and others racing for the checkered flag. Driving one of the Corvette C6.R racers was Gerd Beisel and he did not have a good day.
During the race, Beisel was towards the back of the pack when it appears as though he either made contact or lost traction and steered directly into the wall, causing a small burst of flames and his car to skid to the end of the straightaway where attendants were able to extinguish the flames.
The crash itself looked pretty violent but thankfully, Beisel did not suffer any injures and was OK after the frightening accident.
