Oh how far racing has come.
Formula 1 Racing is one of the greatest racing competitions and spectacles in history. So much engineering is invested into these cars that later trickle down into the road-going automobiles that we drive today. Some of the greatest drivers to ever get behind the wheel have raced in Formula 1 and forged legendary careers with these incredible machines.
These race cars have evolved tremendously since their early days using engines ranging from four-cylinders to V-12s, naturally-aspirated to turbocharged with technology such as traction control, adjustable suspension, active aerodynamics, and more. The list just goes on and on.
Luckily for us, Ruf Blacklock has created a great infographic and video showing how these cars have changed from 1950 to 2012.
