Generational rivalry.
One of the biggest unveilings at the 2015 Geneva International Motor Show will undoubtedly be the new McLaren P1 GTR. The track-only special will be shown alongside its forefather, the McLaren F1 GTR chassis #06R that conquered Le Mans.
These two track-only supercars share the same livery and went head-to-head on the track to show off what they’ve got. The yellow and green McLaren F1 GTR, chassis #06R probably showed the newcomer a few new tricks, but in the end, the new P1 GTR is clearly the fastest thanks to modern technology.
The F1 GTR will always hold a special place in our gasoline-pumping hearts, though.
