Conquering the corkscrew.
The Lexus LFA super car marked the revitalization of pure driver-oriented machines for Toyota. It’s howling F1-style V-10 exhaust note tingles the spine and blistering acceleration puts a smile on your face. It’s an incredible car, and requires a skilled to operate at its full potential.
For new Lexus LFA owners, the Japanese automaker brought the brand new super cars to Laguna Seca Raceway to teach new owners how to drive their cars with Professional Drivers, Scott Pruett and Kai Goddard providing instruction.
With Mazda Laguna Seca being such a technical track, especially with its legendary corkscrew turn, much of the time was dedicated to the classroom. After hitting the books, the team took out the owners so that they could learn how to drive the LFA the way that it’s meant to be driven and understand the limits and capabilities of the super car.
Talk about a great ownership experience!
