Start getting your best Italian supercar jokes ready, because Porsche’s 918 Spyder was doing its best impression in Toronto over the weekend.
Not much is known as to what happened with this Porsche 918 Spyder that erupted in flames at a fueling station just outside of the Canadian city, but the fact that it was at a gas station lends to the possibility that it could be something other than the vehicle itself that started the blaze.
Regardless, there’s now one less Porsche 918 Spyder in the world, and that’s sad in itself. The other sad part is the fact that people thought that the burning car was a Chevrolet Corvette.
